About Studio

We do not have any high school or college students teaching at Dance Elite. The Artistic Director / Owner Lia Malcolm, A.R.A.D., A.I.S.T.D., personally teaches all classes. We believe it is important to have a qualified teacher who will teach the correct technique. Qualified teachers will have letters after his or her name such as A.I.S.T.D. (Associate of the Imperial Society of the Teachers of Dance) or A.R.A.D. (Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance). For your child to be taught safe and correct dance techniques, it is essential to choose a professional classical ballet teacher, equipped with internationally recognized qualifications. 

                                                             

It is ideal if dance teachers have been professional dance teachers because they have had the best training and possess the experience and talent to pass on to the next generation. The Royal Academy of Dance is the largest examining and teacher education organization for classical ballet in the world. RAD teachers have the training and qualifications necessary to teach and instill a joy of dance within the classroom to young children and students. While ballet and other forms of dance are fun, they are physically demanding and parents should take care to send their child to a professional, qualified teacher. Whether pursuing a professional career or dancing for fun, our students experience joy when they see the results of their hard work, commitment and discipline.

                                                            

The Elite Squad is our competition and performance team. There are also lessons available for competitions as solo, duets and trios. Dance Elite offers choreography in preparation for pageants.
