Lia Malcolm
A.R.A.D., A.I.S.T.D.
Artistic Director, Lia Malcolm, is originally from Great Britain's Royal Ballet and has over 25 years experience as a professional dancer. As well as dancing the great classical ballets, she has also had a very successful commercial career which included her very own television series.
She has headlined as the principal dancer in over 40 lavish production shows all over the world, working for some of the most famous choreographers in the dance industry. Her resume includes television shows, movies, commercials, revue shows and rock videos where she has been lucky enough to work with some of the most famous names in showbiz.
When she arrived in America she was immediately given the position as principal dancer in the world famous Folies Bergere in Las Vegas. While in Las Vegas she guest starred with Cirque du Soliel and later became their guest ballet mistress
Lia has taught masterclasses and workshops all over the world and is an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (A.R.A.D.) and an Associate of the Imperial Society of the Teachers of Dance (A.I.S.T.D.). Other teaching credits include: guest teacher for the University of Akron (Classical Ballet), the Advanced Ballet and Hip-hop courses for professionals at Back Stage Studio, Las Vegas. She has taught in schools all over the United States.
She has also been a judge for national dance competitions and is excited to be taking her own team on the competition circuit.
